Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for all agent level hiring and will oversee, influence, and lead a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists. He/She will effectively manage the daily recruiting operations required to maintain a solid talent pool and hire the best by leveraging efficiencies in the use of technologies, workflows, and processes while ensuring consistent application of standards.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Director and the recruiting team to develop and improve sourcing and recruitment strategies, programs, policies and administration.
  • Build and maintain successful, trusting relationships with hiring managers and other key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate effectively across business, HR and operations.
  • Partner with senior management and workforce team to determine staffing needs and priorities within the business units and sites.
  • Ensure alignment and execution of Talent Acquisition policies and procedures
  • Execute recruitment strategies including but not limited to advertising, community networking, and creative development of diverse recruiting sources and partners with local entities to facilitate large-scale recruitment.
  • Evaluate and remain current on new talent acquisition trends, philosophies and initiatives in the industry.
  • Identify industry best practices to continuously improve and develop recruitment processes.
  • Lead team members, foster their professional development and growth, and promote teamwork and cooperation.
  • Monitor key data, identify potential trends and offer solutions to effectively respond.
  • Build the company’s professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges and other partners

Qualification /Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or College Coursework in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing or a related field is required.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Recruiter or in a Human Resource role, including recruiting responsibilities.
  • Preferred experience in high-volume, call center recruitment.
  • Experience in a call center environment is a plus, but not required.
  • Minimum 3 years of Supervisory Management experience required
  • Knowledge of local laws regarding employment and hiring practices.

  • Ability to interact with all levels of personnel in a diverse workforce.
  • Strong technical aptitude and expertise (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, applicant tracking systems, Skype, Zoom etc.).
  • Ability to build meaningful relationships, influence key stakeholders and drive a cross-function team in an aligned direction.
  • Act with high integrity, including handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Strong expertise in all areas of sourcing such as the internet, social media, networking, employee referrals, internal and external job postings.
  • Experience designing, developing and supporting island-wide talent acquisition initiatives.
  • Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to changing business needs and processes.
  • Ability to motivate and mentor team, presenting new opportunities and challenges for additional development.

Work/Schedule Requirements

This role requires the regular use of a phone, computer, and a variety of office equipment. Events such as job fairs and informational sessions may require standing or sitting for long periods of time. While the schedule is typically Monday through Friday with hours from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, the role may require working outside of these hours and on weekends, as necessary. The employees must be able to travel to multiple sites and external business partners in Jamaica as needed.
