Job Description

Compliance Manager provides independent, reasonable objective assurance and recommendations to add value and improve, security and operational controls. Compliance Manager is expected to constructively work with the Operations, IT Security, Client Service and other departments to improve internal controls across the organization.

 

Responsible for performing assigned internal audit projects, as part of the overall internal audit plan approved by the Compliance and Risk Management department, with oversight of internal audits being conducted by Internal Audit Analysts.  This responsibility will include assistance in: 1) evaluating existing internal control documentation, testing current processes and procedures and providing recommendations; 2) developing internal audit scopes; 3) performing internal audit procedures; and 4) preparing internal audit reports reflecting the results of the work performed.  Audit projects will include, operational, compliance, physical and IT processes.  This position is expected to become very familiar with company policies and procedures.

 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct or direct the internal investigation of compliance issues and conduct internal reviews or audits to ensure compliance procedures are followed for US sites.
  • Assess compliance or operational risks and develop risk management strategies.
  • Identify compliance issues that require follow-up or investigation.
  • Evaluate policies and procedures related to compliance functions and document procedures that are needed or provide updates.
  • Evaluate/Examine testing procedures to meet specifics of monitoring programs.
  • Conduct/Verify software technology to provide oversight and monitoring in all required areas.
  • Lead client-initiated assessment projects and provide feedback of findings.
  • Provide analysis of risks assessments for leadership teams.
  • Prepare management reports and executive dashboard regarding compliance operations and progress.
  • Partner with business owners to understand risks and communicate recommendations needed to Senior Leaders.
  • Manage a small team of analysts.
  • Recommend process and policy improvements through remediation strategies.
  • Follow up to ensure that approved recommendations are implemented.
  • Sponsor and support corporate compliance initiatives.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems or other related field.
  • 4+ years’ compliance management experience.
  • Call Center/BPO experience a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to work well with other departments.
  • Must be willing to travel from one site to another

 

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to point, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.

 

This is a full time position. Employee must be able to travel up to 20%.
