Ibex. is looking for energetic and self-motivated individuals who like to help people, multitask, work as team and want to grow as an individual for our Patient Scheduling Specialist role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Register and schedule appointments with accuracy for patients and collect required information in a confidential manner with adherence to established policies and procedures
  • Provide information to patients in regards to their appointments such as pre-appointment prep, check-in requirements, location, and parking
  • Carefully listen to and understand patient needs while using the appropriate procedures and tools to answer inquiries and provide First Call Resolution as often as possible
  • Show empathy and compassion to patients to reinforce a positive patient experience
  • Communicate clearly, effectively, and professionally with physicians, specialists, and their offices on a regular basis

Job Requirements

Position Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required, Additional Education is preferred
  • Prior Healthcare/Medical experience a PLUS
  • Must be computer literate in all Microsoft Office programs
  • Must be able to work well independently and be detailed-oriented and organized
  • Must be able to multitask
  • Must work well as a team member
  • Typing speed of at least 25 words per minute
  • Call center/customer service experience preferred
